In 2015 the Parish Council adopted the Kington Magna Play Area from the Kington Magna Play Area Management Association. With public donations and grants from the Parish Council and dedication from a small band of volunteers, the play area has been transformed from a neglected corner of a field into a safe, secure and attractive amenity. With play equipment, seating and tables, the play area can be used by young and old alike and is truly a public asset. In 2017, the playground renovation project will be completed with the addition of a new climbing frame.
The play area can be accessed from the junction of West Street and Church Hill via the no-through-road or from the southern end of Pill Meadow.
